Gradlink Where are they now?

Class of 1987

Katharine Bartrick (nee Berry) (French Studies)
It gets a little scary when your graduation year gets close and closer to the front of ‘Gradlink’! Living in Connecticut, USA, with husband and two children. If anybody wishes to contact me please e-mail me at: markbartrick@msn.com. Hello to fellow French Studies graduates.

Sarah Bishop (nee Palmer) (Law)
I continue to practise as a solicitor specialising in education and child law. I am married to Gordon with two children.

Alison Capey (French Studies)
I am working as an administrator in Bristol. Would love to hear from Ann T Stubbs (Social Science 1986).

Helena Deshayes (nee Bate) (French and History)
Still in France, still married, still a mother of three! The only news is a change of address, ie ‘La Casiniere’ 02570 Chezy Sur Marne. Please feel free …

Per Hampton (Sociology)
I have just completed a decade of teaching in Milton Keynes. Life is good with my wife Kathryn and two kids, Jack (7) and Isabel (4). Still enjoy playing hockey. I can be contacted on per_kate@yahoo.co.uk

David Harberson (Plant Biology)
I have been in California now since 1992 and am happily married with a son, living in San Francisco. I’d be happy to hear from any old friends who were there between 1984 and 1987 as I lost touch with a lot of people when I moved to the States.

Chee Loo (Economics)
Married Sally Ho (Management Systems ’89). Have three lovely kids. Class of ’87 – anyone who knew me, please contact me, especially Cleminson Hall and Overseas Students’ Association.

John McLuckie (Economics)
Accountant in NHS by day and counsellor for a mental health charity by night. Living in Manchester with Frances Caron. One child and one on the way. Just about playing rugby still for a side called Burnage, and enjoying the rollercoaster ride of a trip to Maine Road.

Peter Quegan (Law)
Situation no change: still a solicitor in Southport, still a local councillor, still a TA commander, still running old cars and bikes and still not enamoured with nappy changing.

Fiona Santos (nee Gourlay) (American Studies)
Gained a Masters in Boston, found a husband in New Hampshire – thank you American Studies! Now living in South Wales and working in the field of Early Years Education and Child Development. Still keep in touch with Jane Marsland – love to hear from others. Hi Sarah!

Elizabeth Tracey (Philosophy)
I am now retired but very busy with a huge garden, researching a family tree and marking essays for St John’s College, York. Still in touch with quite a few people but would especially like to hear from ‘Hitch’.
