Class of 1995

Mark Beresford (Physics)
Having left Hull University and Cleminson Hall in 1994 (after the 2nd year), I joined a company where I am now selling fibre-optic equipment for companies based mainly in the US and Canada. Am living with my fiancée in sunny north Wales, getting married June 2003. Would love to hear from anyone on Physics ’92–’95, or anyone from Clem at that time.

Richard Brierley (European Studies)
Having moved to NYC in Aug ’01, I am now beginning to feel settled. Would be great to hear from any former ‘Euro Studs’ or ‘Cunning Linguists’ from 1995 – especially if you are passing through NY. rbrierley@christies.com

Anna Brynolf (Scandinavian Studies)
Living in Malmo, Sweden. Working in the System Dept at Malmo University Library. Still got my finger on the pulse. abrynolfe@yahoo.se

Russell Davies (Engineering)
Currently living, working and having a laugh in Montreal, Canada. All who knew me are welcome to contact me at RusDavies@hotmail.com
PS Van Van, where are you!!!

Sarah Dempsey (nee Bjerrum) (Economics)
After staying in Hull for a few years after graduating, I am now living in Moscow. I’m an English teacher at a Russian private school.

Claire Dennett (German)
Hi everyone who remembers me, would love to hear from you. Am now married since ’98 to a New Yorker who I met working on cruise ships. We are still working on cruise ships out of Miami and various other locations running activities and events. Come and cruise with us!! Email me at clairecanosa@hotmail.com

Dawn Hall (nee Thompson) (French)
I’m living with my husband, Robin, in Nottingham. We’re both secondary school teachers, but I’m about to go on maternity leave (our first baby is due in January 2002). I’d very much like to hear from old friends, on R-dhall@ntlworld.com

Claire Hampson (nee Balmforth) (French and Modern Dutch Studies)
After leaving uni in ’95, I did a year postgrad at Leeds Uni. I worked for two years in London before moving to my current post as second in languages department at Stokesley School. My (now) husband Rich (Hampson) was on the same Dutch course as me. We married in August 1991 and Rich is now a police officer with the North Yorks force. We would love to hear from anyone who knows us (Nicholson ’91/’92 etc!).

Karl Johnson (Engineering)
I moved all of 100m from the University and have worked since graduating at APD Communications on the science park. Married Aphrodite (MSc Marine Estuarine Science and Management ’91) in 1998 and have a cat and 9 fish. Still in contact with Andrew Stead, Matthew Day and Anton Rothwell (Computer Science ’94).

Trevor Niblock (Engineering)
Currently heading the micro systems group for Analatom in Silicon Valley, California.

Richard Padmore (Engineering)
Now working for HSBC in IT at their group data centre near Barnsley and living in Rotherham with Kay, my fiancée. Still in touch with a number of ex-Needlerites. Needler rules. richardp@supersweet.co.uk

Craig Porteus (Mathematics)
Having spent a number of years in the civil service, I have now moved to BUPA. Hello to all Needlerites from porteusc@bupa.com

Graeme Rogerson (Engineering)
Working for an American firm has its drawbacks: two aggressive take-overs, six managers in six years and a great deal of stress. I have my greencard now and I formed my own business. Part time, I am training to be an Anglican Priest at Ashland Theological Seminary – Ohio. See www.religiousedu.org

Tania Rogerson (Sociology)
I’ve now been living in Hull for 10 years and I’m still here!!! So if anyone who knew me wants to visit please get in touch – tania.rogerson@hullcc.gov.uk (all in lower case). I’ve been working in youth justice for almost five years now but there have been loads of changes and it is still a very exciting/interesting field of work. I’m also a practice teacher and study sign language in my spare time.

Paul Sceeny (Economics)
Still London based – working for City and Guilds. Recently became a property owner, and it would be great to catch up with those I’ve lost touch with. You can reach me on psceeny@hotmail.com

Graham Skinner (Management)
Alison and I married in 1999 and have a new addition to the family Feb 2002! Still see Marcus, Vic etc … Hope the HURFC are still keeping with tradition and disgracing themselves as often as possible. Graham.Skinner@cgey.com

David Sorensen (History)
I’m now a professional big game hunter working in Mongolia. I am involved in a UN project teaching black birds to swim underwater. davids@morrishco.co.uk

Tracey Walden (Music)
After graduating I went straight to nursing college and have worked on a gastric surgery ward for the last three years with a stint on the high dependency unit. I still take part in musical activities in my spare time.

Angela Wilson (nee McInnes) (Mathematics)
Have been a Police Officer with West Yorkshire Police since 1996. Married Darren in 1999. Contact me on darrenwilson@beeb.net
