Graduates attended a reception at the House of Lords which marked the launch of the University’s London-based alumni association.

The Chairman of Council, John Robinson, welcomed over 300 graduates to the reception, which was hosted by our Chancellor, Lord Armstrong of Ilminster. Speakers at the reception were Lord Armstrong; the Vice-Chancellor, Professor David J Drewry; London Alumni Group Chairman Eric Baber (pictured below); and Events Coordinator Jane Bennett-Powell.

Bridget Mustard, the University’s Alumni Relations Officer, said: ‘The purpose of the group is to allow graduates living in London and the Home Counties to network and form or renew friendships, and of course the University is always available to give them advice on courses and careers.’
