The International Office has exceeded international student recruitment targets for the second consecutive year.

International Office Director Andrew Lee said: ‘There are now almost 1,000 international students from more than 100 countries on the Hull and Scarborough Campuses. This compares with 630 students three years ago. When added to our EU and exchange students this brings the total to about 1,500 non-UK students on campus.’

During the first two months of 2002, members of the International Office team attended Education UK exhibitions and fairs in China, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, India, Sri Lanka and Mexico.
