In support of our aspirations to build one of Britain’s leading international universities, and mindful of our drive to recruit students in mainland China, the Bartlett Foundation has awarded an annual scholarship for Chinese students to take up an MBA course at the University of Hull.

The £50,000 scholarship will cover the tuition fees for a total of five students to take the MBA course during the next five years at the University’s Business School. Michael Bartlett, Chairman of the Bartlett Group and Trustee of the Foundation, said: ‘We are delighted by this scholarship because it strengthens our links with China by providing support for education.’

The Chinese MBA students will be selected on academic excellence for the Bartlett Scholarship and the first will start at the Hull University Business School in September 2002. The University as a whole has about 200 Chinese students on campus, most of whom are on business-oriented courses.
